Marlins/Nationals (Wednesday) -- Amezaga Starting

Alfredo Amezaga is back in the starting lineup for the first time since June 21 when he injured his groin in Oakland. He'll be starting in center field and batting eighth. Amezaga said he feels safer defending center than he would at an infield position, which would carry greater injury risk from cutting and braking.

Meanwhile, the MRI performed Tuesday on Dan Uggla's sprained left ankle didn't reveal anything new. But manager Fredi Gonzalez said that Uggla might be able to play toward the end of the series in Colorado under a "best-case scenario." So Robert Andino gets the nod at second again on Wednesday to close out the series against the Nationals.

            Here are the lineups:

Nationals: CF Roger Bernadina, LF Willie Harris, RF Elijah Dukes, 3B Aaron Boone, 2B Ronnie Belliard, C Jesus Flores, 1B Paul Lo Duca, SS Felipe Lopez, P Odalis Perez.

Marlins: SS Hanley Ramirez, 2B Robert Andino, 3B Jorge Cantu, LF Josh Willingham, 1B Wes Helms, RF Cody Ross, C Matt Treanor, CF Alfredo Amezaga, P Ricky Nolasco.
