Lineups -- Marlins/Phillies (Wednesday)
Lookfor John Baker to receive the bulk of the catching assignments, at least for now. Though Matt Treanor is back with the team, manager Fredi Gonzalez said he'll proceed cautiously with Treanor, who is trying to play through a hip injury.
The Marlins (incredibly) scored eight runs on Tuesday without benefit of a home run. That's the most runs they've scored without a homer since the final day of the 2007 season when they defeated the Mets, 8-1, and knocked the New Yorkers out of the playoffs.
Jorge Cantu takes a 13-game hitting streak into tonight's game.
