The Marlins, in a bid to change their luck apparently, have decided to go with the high-sock look for today's matinee with the Braves. But there are too few fans in the stands to probably notice. The joint is empty, at least in relative terms. I'm not great at guessing crowds, but I'd say fewer than 1,500 fans are in the stands, definitely the lowest turnout of the season so far. Given that it's a holiday and the weather couldn't be nicer, save for the usual heat and humidity, those excuses aren't available.
