The Marlins have extended spring training invitations to 24 non-roster players. They are:
Pitchers: Jose Ceda, Willie Collazo*, John Koronka*, Henry Owens, Brian Sanches*, Brett Sinkbeil, Aaron Thompson, Sean West, Michael Wood*.
Catchers: Brad Davis, Miguel Fermin, Kyle Skipworth.
Infielders: Chris Coghlan, Matt Dominguez, Andy Gonzalez*, John Lindsey, Manny Mayorson, Logan Morrison.
Outfielders: Scott Cousins, Alejandro de Aza, Jay Gibbons*, John Raynor, Michael Ryan*, Michael Stanton.
* Signed to minor-league contracts

Who is expected to make the final roster? Jay Gibbons seems like a great pickup.
This is the best part about all of the one year deals that the Marlins offer - it seems that every year there are quality baseball players that fall through the cracks and since we have open roster spots, we are at the top of the list for all players that are hungry enough to revive their careers... Jorge Cantu was a great success story and really helped soften the blow of the Cabrera trade.
The Marlins are very smart at player acquisitions and trades, as well as drafting and developing talent.
