Dallas McPherson Out With Oblique Injury


             KISSIMMEE -- The walking wounded on the Marlins gained a new member. Third baseman Dallas McPherson, who was scheduled to make the trip for today's game against the Braves, remained behind in Jupiter due to tightness in his right oblique.

            Meanwhile:

            -- Manager Fredi Gonzalez said he expected shortstop Hanley Ramirez would be in the lineup and at shortstop for Saturday's game against the Boston Red Sox.

           -- First baseman Gaby Sanchez (bruised knee) is expected to make the trip to Lakeland on Sunday to face the Detroit Tigers.

           -- Jorge Cantu is starting at first base today.
