Hermida makes play of the day

If I am going to knock the Marlins when they make errors, I’m going to praise them when they make a nice play.

So far today the Marlins have made two errors. That’s 18 in seven games (uggh).

Both errors were by Robert Andino at shortstop. Andino is going to have a difficult time making this team, because he is out of options.

But on a high note, left fielder Jeremy Hermida made the play of the day in the fourth when he raced into foul ground, dancing over the mound down the left field line to spear a sinking liner by Chip Ambres.
