Strained Rotator Cuff for Lindstrom; No Throw 7-10 Days

Marlins closer Matt Lindstrom has a right rotator cuff strain and will not be permitted to throw for the next seven to 10 days.

The injury, which was revealed in a MRI on Monday, takes Lindstrom out of the World Baseball Classic for Team USA and puts his Opening Day status with the Marlins in jeopardy.

Lindstrom was taken out of Sunday's WBC game against the Netherlands after complaining of tightness in his shoulder.
