Brett Carroll sent down after loss

LAND SHARK STADIUM -- The Marlins capped their fifth straight loss Friday night by sending Brett Carroll back to the minors after the game. The move was made to make room for Saturday starter Andrew Miller.

Carroll was 3 for 21 this season at the plate (.143) and used primarily as a defensive replacement in the outfield.

SickofFrediandAmezaga

Looks like my post got deleted so I will try again. Can we option Fredi and Amezaga down to the minors as well? Or even better, to Cuba and Mexico respectively? Call up a real manager and someone far more urselful than Amezaga.
