Some lineup tinkering as the Marlins prepare for their 29th doubleheader in franchise history. They are 6-6-16 (six sweeps, six times being swept, and 16 splits) in the 28 previous twin bills.
Marlins: 1. Emilio Bonifacio, 3b; 2. Jeremy Hermida, rf; 3. Hanley Ramirez, ss; 4. Jorge Cantu, 1b; 5. Cody Ross, cf; 6. Dan Uggla, 2b; 7. Ronny Paulino, c; 8. Chris Coghlan, lf; 9. Chris Volstad, p.

Is Fredi Gonzalez still our manager? If he is, our chances of winning either of these two games decrease greatly. I wonder what he can do to lose two games in one day, if there is anyone who can do that it is Fredi Gonzalez.

Game 2 lets see:
Hermida, Bonofacio, Hanley, Baker, Cantu, Ross, Uggla, Coghlan
Hermida is # 1 for OBA while Bono puts the ball on the ground for hit & runs. Baker # 4 makes sense if you look at his OPS and it also breaks up the two big righties.

Scott, nice lineup. Unfortunately, the inept Fredi Gonzalez is our manager, and not the great mind you seem to be. Do you have any managing experience? I would certainly nominate you over this dumb rafter in a heartbeat.
Going about the lineup in this fashion would be the smart and easy thing to do, and we all know Fredi is not by any means smart. And what is obvious to the rest of the human race is not to Fredi.
