Marlins Make (Maybe) Final Roster Moves

With the exception of the Cody Ross situation, which remains in limbo, the Marlins have all but set their 25- and 40-man rosters.

Let's start with the 40-man. The Marlins made room there by designating outfielder Jai Miller and pitcher Cristhian Martinez. That opened space for the additions of reliever Jose Veras and infielders Brian Barden and Mike Lamb.

As expected, reliever Brian Sanches was placed on the 15-day disabled list with the hamstring injury he sustained Friday. And the Marlins recalled right-handed reliever Tim Wood from Triple A New Orleans to fill his spot.

    Got all that?

Now all that remains is to find out whether Ross will be ready to go Opening Day on Monday. If not, outfielder Scott Cousins will take his spot.
