JUPITER -- Bunch of moves this morning that will thin out the clubhouse and create some elbow room in the cramped quarters.
The most significant chops: LHP Sean West and RHP Alex Sanabia were optioned to Triple A New Orleans, as were LHP Dustin Richardson, RHP Steve Cishek and OF Bryan Petersen.
The Marlins also released OF Chris Lubanski and re-assigned the following players to minor-league camp: C Kyle Skipworth, C Vinny Rottino, , RHP Tom Koehler and RHP Shawn Hill. RHP Sandy Rosario was opened to Double A Jacksonville.
Those moves now leave 41 players in camp.
