Another reason why tax payers should never pay for a billionaire's stadium. Let the rich owners pay for their own arenas & stadiums.

They know A LOT about MLB for being from Taiwan. All of it is spot-on, and they do raise an interesting question: if MLB can force McCourt to sell the Dodgers, why not force Loria to sell the Marlins? Lay down some ground rules, say that if you're an abusive owner, your team will be taken.

If he did this because he did not get his 3 million paying customer, wait till he get no more than 5 thousand fans per game, for one thing all of those expensive rent restauirants are going to close. The only good thing is that the 5000 parking spot garage is more than enough, maybe they can sell monthly contracts to Jackson Memorial Hospital employees, because they hardly will need more than 1500 spots/. No one is crazy enough to spend 100 dollars per person to see a AA team play a major league team.

Former Miami resident living in Tampa now....This situation with the Marlins has thrown a monkey wrench in discussions to move the Rays into a new stadium...which is more of a necessity than the Miami move. The Trop is a horror show in a lousy location...Next year the combined attendance of the Rays and Marlins will be lower than half the individual teams in the Majors.

Go watch the closest high school baseball game. You will be spending your money on the same quality of baseball, but your money will go to a greater cause.

Will be happy to pay to see baseball at Marlins Park. Will pay 1.00 for a ticket including parking. Should have a section all to my family at that price.

Hey Miami, you enjoy it when it is the Heat putting the boots to Cleveland and Toronto. How does it feel now that you are on the other end of the deal???

They need to update the Blue Jay's logo...

It is again disrespectful with the Marlins fan, the sports fans, the public and the government officials that help build the new stadium. Loria and his clowns should sell the team so other persons that respect baseball take over.

Note to Joe Manzaneres: Those high-rent restaurants aren't going to close. They don't exist.

OWNERS THINK WE ARE RETARDED, GREAT BUSINESS MOVE ON THEIR PART, THEY GOT THE STADIM INCREASING THE VALUE OF THE TEAM AND HAD GREAT PRODUCT SALES MAKING LOTS OF MONEY ( IN THE BANK) NOW THEY CAN SEAT BACK AND COLLECT REVENUE SHARING AND GO FISHING... TAXPAYERS WILL CONTINUE TO BE JUST THAT... TAXPAYERS.
