TV or not TV?

Many of you have wondered how many FIU games will be on television this season.

The Sun Belt's complete television schedule has not been released yet. I called the conference office and was told they are expected to release the tv schedule "sometime" in May.

ESPN/ESPN2 did not pick up any FIU games, but there may be a shot that Sun Sports could televise the FIU/um game.

Last year, FIU was on tv 8 times with most of those on ESPN Plus and CSS. Those two stations may pick up Golden Panthers games again this season.

Thanks for researching that for us Pete. Hopefully we can get all games televised again this year.

Thank for the prompt response Pete, finally a good source of info for FIU athletics.

Thanks, Pete. I love the "University of Coral Gables" bit. Ha!

Thanks for finding this out for us Pete. ESPN or ESPN 2 should pick up our game against UM. Everyone will be watching this game closely after all that happened last year. We need to lobby ESPN to carry this game. Its still very early so a lot can change when game time comes.

They should definitely pick up the scUM game, I wonder if there are any other marquee games already slated for that day? If they do, they whole country can watch us beat the juice out of scUM, this time without fists...they may not be so lucky in the parking lots though!!
