During the weekly Sun Belt coaches conference call, Mario Cristobal was asked about former North Texas coach Todd Dodge, fired four days after FIU thumped the Mean Green 34-10.
Cristobal's response: "I think he’s a great coach and a great human being. You could see that program, you could see, North Texas every year got progressively better. They were in every game, just about. We had some tremendous matchups with them. Again, a complete class act. He’s a great football coach, and his son’s a tremendous human being and a great football player, as well. Nothing but the best for Coach Dodge."

Hahaha! I always love the "great human being" phrase. Its so redundant.
For those of you that didnt know, our pal Antwan Barnes had a monster game against the Patriots yesterday. He sacked Tom Brady twice in the red zone and had a lot of pressures that forced early throws. Its unfortunate that the Chargers ended up losing though...

I'm rooting for him to finally show the NFL what he can do. He's the only FIU player in the NFL and we should all support him.
