That's what this story out of Pensacola indicates, as Shaun White seems to be down to FIU and Middle Tennessee after Vanderbilt pulled his scholarship.
White, a three-star recruit from Catholic High, planned to take his official visit to FIU Wednesday after a Golden Panthers representative met with him in the Panhandle Monday.
Adding him to an already-jam-packed class could be tough. Quarterbacks Loranzo Hammonds, North Augusta (S.C.), and Dylan Warner, Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur, have already committed to FIU. Always important to remember that commitments are not at all binding, so either player or program could have a change of heart up until Feb. 2.

Adding another quarterback must mean a couple things. Perhaps one of the QBs on the roster is leaving the program? Or one of the QB commits could be moved to another position or could be backing out of their commitment?

What ever they do I hope they don't bring in 3 QB's.. Way to many for a team that has a set Starter for one more year, and two good QB's that have the capability to be starters this year. I know we have one more guy in the roster thats a QB but have not heard anything about him..

It's my understanding that Shrippa has left the team. Having three QBs coming in may not be such a bad idea. Especially when you consider the possibilty of one or both of the new commits playing another position in the future.

Presuming all the commitments stay intact, FIU would have at least 5 scholarship quarterback this fall. I don't see them adding a sixth unless one of the guys below is leaving the program or backing out of his commitment.

Thanks for the info.. I did not know about Shirripa leaving the team. Do you know why he left and where he went? The kid had a very accurate arm (not strong).. I realize everyone thinks that Medlock will probably be the guy taking the snaps in 2012 but I thought Shirripa had a chance to challenge him..

Can you give us a little more info about current QB's and possible recruits. It seems we have mixed info..
I think 4 QB's is the perfect number, specially if two are Freshman, one Sophomore and a starting Senior..
