Many FIU fans have been asking for Recruiting info. Even though I don't know who Cristobal and staff have on their target board, I do know some of the very best local runners. Im pretty sure I missed a few here or there but if we get our hands on a couple of this guys that woud be AMAZING!
QB Jacob Rudock (St. Thomas)
QB Douglas Cook (University School)
RB Devonte Freeman (Central)
RB Sony Michel (American Heritage) only a sophmore! Possibly one of the best RB's in South Florida once he graduates..
WR Josh Orsino (Westminster)
WR Clinton Taylor (Northwestern)
WR Rashad Greene (St.Thomas)
LB Marvin Jean (Krop)
LB Denzel Perryman (Coral Gables)
LB Dwight Jackson (Central)
DE Desmond Hollin (Southridge)
DE Miles Pace (Central)
DB Gerrod Holliman (Southridge)
DB Jabari Gorman (Pace)
DB Antwan Eddie (South Dade)
Remember that the ENTIRE nation comes to talk to some of these kids but we also have one of the best recruiting coaches and his back yard is FULL of talent... Go get them Cristobal!
Go FIU!

FIU just got a QB commitment from Loranzo Hammonds of North Augusta, South Carolina. He threw for 2,446 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2010 with a 71.6 percent completion rate and led his team to state semifinals. Hammonds also rushed for 652 yards and 14 touchdowns and was named The Augusta Chronicle's 2010 South Carolina high school football player of the year.

yea, I saw that QB pencil in with us today too. I guess that means that Cato is not coming. I do think, however, that Hammonds could be a big time upgrade for us.
I just want to see D and O line and nothing more. We have enough speed to plug in good players into skill positions. What we need is the big ugly's.

Yep I hope the recruiting class sets a new record in total weight. O-line and d-line are everything.

except for Taylor none of those guys sign with FIU. Ruddock (Iowa), Michel(will be at Miami), Gorman (UF), Holliman (Louisville), Freeman (FSU), Greene (Soft to FSU), Perryman (FSU or MIami)...
