Covering womens' hoops tonight from U.S. Century Bank Arena on the campus of FIU. The Golden Panthers tip off against conference foe University of Arkansas at Little Rock at 6 p.m.
FIU (7-12, 2-3) is coming off a double digit win at Denver on Saturday. The Panthers used a trio of players to knock off Denver, with junior Rakia Rodgers and freshman Jerica Coley contributing 23 points each. Michelle Gonzalez add 18 points.
The Panthers are looking to rebound from a sluggish start to the new year. FIU is 2-3 in the month of January.
