FIU's Kyle Fitzpatrick was honored with the Louisville Slugger and NCBWA Pro-Line Athletic National Player of the Week award for pitching a no-hitter last week.
Fitzpatrick was also named Sun Belt pitcher of the week.
Fitzpatrick struck out five and only surrendered a walk in the Panthers' 4-0 win on March 2.
Fitzpatrick's autographed hat was sent to the College Baseball Hall of Fame.

You guys act like Pete is this great Pullitzer Prize winning reporter? He works for FIU, of course he will have the information first!! Morons....and btw Pete's writing is at the elementary level and he's very unprofessional, since he was angling for an FIU job while employed at the Herald, mainly Rich Kelch's job, good thing they didn't place his lack of talent there.
