Sharp-shooter Tanner Wozniak -- the FIU recruit who will compete in this weekend's CBS/Maxpreps 3-point contest in Houston -- has been named fourth-team All-American in Parade's prestigious annual list.
Wozniak, a Keswick Christian senior who averaged 32 points per game as a senior, is one of just two Florida players recognized by Parade.
The other: Winter Park's Austin Rivers, the Duke-bound guard considered the No. 1 overall prospect in the Class of 2011.

That's great !!! It's nice to see we are getting some good players in here that are receiving national exposure and awards. Things are heading in the right direction at FIU. Can't wait for next season.

Its great that we have had back-to-back Top 25 Recruiting classes but now they need tolearn to play AS A TEAM! Im not sure if I will re-new my season tix for basketball because the 4 home games I went to last season did not look pretty even though we won 2 out of 4. Team chemestry needs a BIG improvement next year. Not having a true big man does not help either. I really hope women and men basketball take the next big step and win the Sunbelt.
JUSTIN:
Are we going to get ANY last minute info reagarding the Spring Game that is coming up in less then 24hours?? I was expecting something posted today and tomorrow.
BTW Breakfast is on FIU tomorrow before the Spring Game. Get there early and enjoy some great food!
Go Golden Panthers!

Gooch7;
Where have you read any of our classes were rated Top 25?

From what I have read last year we were 17th or 18th in Recruiting class last year, and "supposedly" we have a better class this year..
Im 99% sure on that info.. Maybe Justin will know a little more info about how our Basketball recruiting class is stacking up against all the other big programs..
Regadless of ranking, one thing is certain and that is that they need to play as a team and NOT individuals (like this season)..
Go FIU!

FIU wasn't ranked in the top 25 in basketball recruiting classes this year or last by Rivals, Scout, or ESPN.com.
I'm 100% sure of that.
