FIU recruit Wozniak to compete in national 3-point contest

Tanner Wozniak, a Class of 2011 commitment to FIU, has been selected as participant in the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Competition.

The shootout will be held April 1, and televised by CBS at 5:30 p.m. on CBS.

"I was excited to hear that I was one of eight players chosen nationally to compete in 3-Point competition," Wozniak said on his website.  "I've worked very hard over the years for the opportunity and I'm very honored by the selection and I'm looking forward to the competition in Houston."

Wozniak recently finished off his career at Keswick Christian School with 1,937 points. The 6-5, 190-pound guard averaged 32.1 points per game as a senior.
