They should've known. Thursday and Friday were a hint and a half for the rest of the Sun Belt what was coming Saturday when FIU freshman Johanna Gustafsdottir went into Saturday's 200 backstroke at the Sun Belt Swimming & Diving Championships seeded 11th.
Gustafsdottir, just as she did Thursday and Friday, stunned the field, this time winning by a massive 3.25 seconds in 1:54.40 for her third individual title.
Later Saturday, Gustafsdottir swam anchor leg on the third-place 400 free relay, led off by Klara Andersson (7th in the 100 free earlier in the evening), who was followed by Kayla Derr and Kelly Grace.

Congrats to that freshman swimmer, as she promises to be dominating in her FIU career.
