Though Saturday wasn't the proudest day for FIU's defense, senior defensive end Tourek Williams had a fumble-causing sack, a career-high nine tackles and a career-high-tying four tackles for loss. The latter was the second most in a game by an FIU player, even with Williams against Louisiana-Monroe in 2010; Audric Adger against North Texas in 2007; and Antwan Barnes against Bethune in 2003 and Middle Tennessee State in 2006. (the record: 5.5 by Keyonis Bouie against North Texas in 2006).
That got Williams the National Defensive Lineman of the Week honor from the College Football Performance Awards.

South Florida talent baby! Norland.

After going to the UCF game, I can not be any more disappointed with our Teams performance. Right now we have almost no chance of going 8-4 and we are looking at a 7-5 season at best.. The Sunbelt has only gotten better (way better actually) so Conference games will be very tough.
Our Play calling needs to drastically get more aggressive. It seems we run the same play over and over again. I never see a play that would totally shock the defense. UCF ran a great play for a TD with the WR taking the handoff and throwing the wide open pass for a TD. We have the players to do the same. Once upon a time W.T played QB at Northwestern before moving to WR.. Use your weapons instead of hiding them..
I hoping for a great game this Sat specially if we get 20,000 fans into the stadium.
Go Panthers!
