Medlock practices; another Sun Belt POW for Savage

Quarterback Jake Medlock practiced Tuesday. Not much and, watching him come off the field as we waited to talk to Mario Cristobal, you could tell his mobility registered somewhere midway between Normal Medlock and Normal Fred Sanford.

Cristobal dismissed the idea of giving underclassmen more playing time, even if the goals of a Sun Belt title or bowl bid disappear, although he did say at this point in the season, you usually see some of the freshman raise their game to earn more playing time.

The Vegas books that have this game on the boards like Middle Tennessee by 3. I'm sure a number are holding it off the boards until Medlock's situation gets settled one way or the other.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

Senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Savage earned her second Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week award for her 16-save performance in a 1-1 tie with North Texas.

(yawning...)...does it even matter?...

Oh what a "rise"??? smh

Cristobal says: "even if the goals of a Sun Belt title or bowl bid disappear".

What a joke! Cristobal hasn't beat a team a winning record team since we beat Louisville at the beginning last year schedule(an that was a very mediocre team until Bridgewater showed up). He has lost against ULL twice, ULL twice, Duke with and without Hilton, Carroll, Medlock, Rhodes.

We still have games in the schedule that we don't have any chance of winning: ULM and WKU. Doesn't matter if Medlock or Rhodes play or they don't. This team suck because the coaching staff sucks.

Cristobal: I have news for you buddy, there is no Bowl for us this year because we suck because you suck. Last year shouldn't have been a Bowl for us because you lost against 3 SunBelt teams and we finish 4th in the conference.

Cristobal needs to go. FIU deserves better.

the downward spiral continues. hammer gonna drop on you son!

Notre Dame just scored again. Oh and the NCAA is on deck. Nevin and Pee Wee send their regards.

InternationalSouthPaw - Duke just scored again. Or one of those North Eastern Louisiana Tech community colleges in your conference that you keep losing to.

Miami has the worst fans in the country, all schools, all sports. Blue&GoldHeart is a perfect example of why.

Wow.... 100% agree with Buc Nasty.

Never thought I'd ever type that.

Duke's 5-1 start is one of the most surprising stories of the season thus far. Duke has not been bowl-eligible since 1994, which is also the last time the Blue Devils started at least 5-1. But will Duke be able to get that elusive sixth win? Recent history says it's unlikely.  - From ESPN.

Their best shot for that sixth win is VT, GT and UM...

How cool would that be.
