Replacing running backs coach Apollo Wright, who went to the New Mexico staff, comes Andrew Hayes-Stoker from the Chciago Bears staff. Hayes-Stoker worked as a wide receivers assistant for three seasons after four seasons in football operations.
Louisville Trinity quarterback Travis Wright signed his letter of intent, so he's officially signee No. 19 in the 2013 class.

DJN,
Whenever it becomes public record, can you post MCs contract amount at AL. Just to know how much financial obligation FIU will have in 2014.
Rumor on Sedano's show was 1.3 million after incentives? For that kind of money to a position coach he better deliver Duke Johnson too.
In 2007 PG made MC the highest paid coach in the conference and allowed a position coach with zero coordinator or HC experience to learn on the job. By the end of 2010 it looked like PG had hit a home run. The sunbelt changed after 2010, ASU hired Hugh Freeze, ULL hired a D-II champion in Mark Hudspeth, willy Taggart at WKU...these three men led their new teams with little recruiting time to wins over a TY Hilton Panthers team coached by MC. Guz Malzhan replaced Freeze for 2012 and all of them beat a team of 30 seniors with a possible first round pick at Safety, a late round all-sunbelt DE in Tourek, a late round left Tackle in the OL, and two good LB's that may find a pro career in arena or CFL.
MC will be a good coach one day, but he needs further development and this job at AL under Nick Sabanis a good thing for him. Best of luck to all.
And as always GoPanthers!

Glad Coach Wright landed on his feet so fast. He will be truly missed amongst these players. Well know the house is clean and new coaching staff is fully accountable. The proof will be in the pudding. I guess as a fan we just have the wait and see how all this works out. Congrats to Coach Cristobal, good steal for Alabama, he will back at Head Coach someplace soon. As for Coach Wright, this is a class act guy thanks for mentoring these young men and God Bless!

100% FIUBLUE1,
The staff is accountable. I hope FIU Alumn Greg Moss gets the promotion to DB coach. He was a bad @ss as player. Still holds some records at FIU, he's a local guy with good connections and played at the ProLevel in Canada.
Give him a shot!
