Calabrese named men's soccer coach

Four consecutive 10-win seasons, two NCAA tournament appearances and two Atlantic Sun Conference championships at East Tennessee State were good enough for Scott Calabrese to get the FIU men's soccer head coach job.

Kenny Arena left the job after two seasons to be an assistant under his father, Bruce Arena, with the Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy.

Seems like a decent hire. If he was able to get East Tennessee State into the NCAA tournament, I'm excited to see what he can do here. I read that he was also an assistant at Clemson, and their program had significant success while he was there.

Hopefully, he can continue recruiting top talent.

Solid hire. Lets work on the facilities now..

Resume looks pretty damn good. Im sure he will have more talent to work with in South Florida than he did in Tennessee. Welocme to Panther Country Coach Calabrese..

Go Panthers!
