CFPA loves Richard Leonard

Like Blue Horseshoe loved Anacott Steel.

The College Football Performance Awards put Leonard, a redshirt junior cornerback and possibly the fastest FIU player, on its kickoff returners watch list. Leonard averaged 29.5 yards per kickoff return in 2012 and had a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown that proved the most crucial score in defeating FAU. He spent last year academically ineligible.

NEAL

Anything new with the uniform?

Has there been any upgrades (in size) to the band?

Good job R.L. We need you to kick ass in the CLASS as well as in the Field..

Go Panthers!

Hey DJN, for what it's worth, that story on Nigel Bethel really changed over the last two weeks.

He still should not have reacted as he did... but, charges were dropped.

Having all the new information, that Battle apologized for initiating the contact and apparently she hit him in the face first does change alot of things. But he should not have punched her... I'd be ok with Ron Turner if he so chose to extend an offer in a one strike policy... at anycase, I'm sure other teams are after him now that the dust may has cleared.

He was reinstated at Texas Tech, and suspended for the first 3 games of the season.

We need Leonard and the rest of the Junior Class to step up , the time has come , I believe we are going to have a great year , I looking for at least 8 wins , lets go !
