If you haven't picked up The Miami Herald's preview section today, I wholeheartedly suggest you do! There is a lot of cool stuff in the preview, lot of pics and info hockey fans need heading into the season.
Included in that is my predictions for the coming season. Since they aren't online, figured I'd post here:
Eastern Conference -- Southeast: Thrashers; Northeast: Senators; Atlantic: Rangers. Playoff teams: Canadiens, Sabres, Hurricanes, Devils, Panthers.
Western Conference -- Central: Predators; Pacific: Ducks; Northwest: Flames. Playoff teams: Red Wings, Sharks, Stars, Oilers, Blue Jackets.
Eastern Conference Finals: Buffalo d. Atlanta.
Western Conference Finals: Calgary d. Anaheim.
Stanley Cup Finals: Calgary d. Buffalo.
