Eddie Returns

Eddiebelfour1JM said today that Ed Belfour will return to the pipes tomorrow against New Jersey. JM said he's giving Eddie the benefit of the doubt after he had to pull him after he gave up four goals on nine shots in an eventual 4-2 loss to Ottawa.

This will be Ed's 26th straight start, which as you know, is a franchise record.

I love records. And CDs.

-- PS: Eddie came into the season leading Jersey's Martin Brodeur by 11 wins in the race for Patrick Roy (that's pronounced ROY) and the top spot among NHL goalies. Today? Marty's got the edge, leading Ed by eight, 489-481.

Eddie_4 -- Had this picture of our good friend Cousin Eddie. It was just going to waste. Figured I better use it. That is all.
