The Panthers told us no decision would be made on who was to be called up Sunday, but that wasn't all-together true as Stefan Meyer was held out of Sunday's Rochester Americans game because he had bigger fish to fry.
Meyer is back up for another stint with the Panthers, filling in for the injured Brett McLean.
Would have had this news earlier, but was told by JM no decision had been made, he had to talk to Randy Cunneyworth after the game, yadda-yadda. Don't think it was a big deal for the Panthers to tell us their plans, unless they were trying to save some money or something. Which is probably the case.
-- The Panthers also called up Tanner Glass from Rochester, apparently to fill in for Richard Zednik who is sick. Meyer said today he wasn't going to be nervous, that time has passed. Says he's just going to play hockey and try and help the Panthers beat Carolina. For Glass, the butterflies are going to be out. If he plays tonight, it'll be his NHL debut.

Nice post.
There goes your Christmas card from the Yormark and Martin families.
I hope Meyer gets more that 3 1/2 minutes of ice time on this trip.
