No, it won't, although the Panthers may try to use it as an excuse later on!
We're sitting at BankAtlantic Center right now, working in the press box. The power did go off twice, but it's back up now and everything is running smoothly. There's even a still picture of Olli Jokinen on the scoreboard.
All is quiet at BAC right now, will continue to bring updates as they come.

Pens with the big move of the day landing Hossa, plus adding Gill to their blueline.
Washington and Carolina stock up, Tampa makes a move it needs, but might not help this season, and Atlanta sells for little gain.
And where are the Panthers? Making two deals, one of which makes almost no sense. None from a "making the playoffs" perspective.

Another year, another disappointing deadline for the Panthers. I guess nothing gained, nothing lost...we'll just continue to be mediocre.
