Six More to Rochester

MONTREAL -- Six more players have been sent to Rochester camp, bringing the main Florida roster total to 27.

No big surprises; Anthony Stewart and Tanner Glass make the grade and stick, as do Shawn Matthias and Michael Frolik.

The cuts: Michal Repik, Chris Beckford-Tseu, Janis Sprukts, Mike Duco, Kenndal McArdel and David Brine.

The players who were cut earlier today: D Peter Aston, D Luke Beaverson, RW Brady Calla, D Michael Caruso, RW Dan Collins, D James DeLory, D Keaton Ellerby, D Rory Fitzpatrick, D Jason Garrison, D Jordan Henry, C Drew Larman, D Frankin MacDonald, F Steve MacIntyre, C Stefan Meyer, G Tyler Plante, G David Shantz and F Andrew Sweetland.

well, roster max is 24 so he isn't safe yet. it's been reported that he would have to pass through waivers but i wonder if there's confirmation from the club. according to what i've seen (charts on another site), he wouldn't be.
