OTTAWA -- Greetings from Capital City Canada, where it's cold and rainy and just generally yucky.
At least I got a little Prince of Bel Air action going thanks to Atlanta's Peachtree TV (which for some strange reason is still shown on cable systems in Canadian hotels. I am not complaining though.)
Have a little bit of news for ya:
In order to juice things up, Michael Frolik remains in the lineup, playing on the top line with Nathan Horton and Cory Stillman. Brett McLean slides down to take Frolik's spot with Kamil Kreps and Ville Peltonen.
Also, with Tomas Vokoun seemingly played through his bad stretch, Craig Anderson gets the start tomorrow.
That's really it.
Will update with some quotes once I go through the tape.
Good day.

I knew i'd love PD. Frolik will get more playing time he played great last night he's a much better fit for that line than mcclean is.

GR thx for these updates, greatly appreciated by us diehards.
Glad Anderson gets a shot he needs to play 20-25 games. Time to let peltonin go and roll the dice with Mathias. Let the kids play, let them grow, as its our ownly shot for offense.

While I agree Pelts might need to sit a game, I dont think Matthias' needs are to see 3rd or 4th line time in the NHL. I think Stewart is a much better fit right now. I also think if you bring Matthias up its to center the top or 2nd line and move Horton back to wing putting the Express line back together.

they need to sit Horton after the great save on his first shot he was a no show, he stated at the beginning of the season that he neesds to learn to show up at all the games, so far that has not happened.
I would rather see guys with less talent and great hustle then watch Horton play maybe one or two shifts a game and then coast the rest of the time.
As DeBoer said during the game, we need to have guys in front of the goalie, the winning goal was because Montreal was in the slot.

Bottom line is this
This team is not good enough to score enough goals to win games. EVERYONE TAKE OFF YOUR BLINDERS.
Look at this lineup up front and that will tell the entire story.
not a single person in the lineup that scares people

Trust me, you guys don't want Matthias right now. He's been demoted to 4th line and hasn't had a point yet in 4 games with a -4. Don't know if he's pouting at being here or not, but he really needs to get untracked.
