McCabe Report "Speculation"

TSN is reporting that Bryan McCabe's back injury is very serious, with X-rays showing he has at least one broken vertebrea.

According to the Panthers, that's just not true and is "absolute speculation" on their part.

McCabe is at the doctor now (it's 2 p.m.) and we should have some sort of update before the game tonight.

Now, from the looks of things, it didn't look good last night. McCabe could put no weight on his left leg after he awkwardly went into the boards and had to be gingerly helped off the ice at RBC Center. I wouldn't be surprised if this was indeed a very serious injury. We'll just have to see what happens. Will update the site as soon as I know something more concrete.

Stay tuned.
