INDIANAPOLIS -- Craig Anderson's love of motorsports has been well documented. The Panthers goalie even has Corvette racing logos on his mask.
Friday, Craig and his father Richard -- who drove GT cars and such -- were at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway seemingly having the time of their life. The two had VIP passes and spent part of Carb Day hanging out in the pits watching the a ction up close and personal.
''It's always a good time coming out here hearing those engines and smelling that race fuel,'' Anderson said from outside Gasoline Alley. ''Being around these cars makes me want to get in one. But seeing all these guys, I think I'm just too big. There's only one guy who is over 6-foot. They are tiny. And they don't weigh but 100 pounds. Looks like I have to lose some weight.''
As far as hockey goes, nothing new on the Anderson front. A free agent come July 1, he says he hasn't spoken to JM and that he's just playing the waiting game. It sounds like he would like to come back to the Panthers, but that may not be in the cards.
''Nothing has happened,'' he said. ''I'm just waiting around to see what happens.''

I think the draft will determine Andy's future. If someone dangles some high picks for Tivo, then Andy is our stop-gag goalie until Markstrom finishes out his SEL contract.

Why does tonights win for goalie Craig Anderson doesn't count in fantasy hockey?
I have used Craig Anderson in fantasy hockey tonight. His team won 3-1 and he was the only goalie who played for the Colorado Avalanche yet yahoo fantasy hockey hasn't credited him with a win. Why is that?
