CHARLOTTE -- At my home away from home (Charlotte's airport) and just got word that both Michal Repik and Shawn Matthias up for tonight's game at the Gahden.
We know Cory Stillman (left knee) is out, but who else?
Stay tuned. More when we get to Gotham.

Maybe they are going to split Stillman's ice time. I don't know why have both up really...

According to the Panthers Facebook page its that some of the guys might have a few "bumps and bruises." Whatever that means.

Well, we knew they would have to call up a forward from The Amerks whether they put Koistenen or a farm player into the lineup, but I think that they brought up Matthias so that Pete would have some more flexibility with his line shuffling(with Matthias being a natural center).

If I had to guess, I would say that it would have something to do with flexibility for Pete(with Matthias being a center and Repik/Koistenen being a winger) and his line shuffling.

So much Deboer saying that Matthias needing a "good AHL year" before being brought up again. I don't like the call. There were plenty of other deserving Amerks to be brought up than Matthias. I wonder if it is to show him off to some NHL scouts? We can only hope, we could use some more "D".
