Saturday Night LIVE!: The Thrashers Have Landed ... Kickoff Now 7:53 P.M. ... Stephen Weiss OUT

ATLANTA -- Just got word from the Atlanta equipment guys that the Thrashers plane landed around 5:45 and they should be en route to Philips Arena soon.

The Panthers were doing their usual soccer game warmup at the time.

Again: The Panthers have no excuses tonight. They have been here since last night, have gone through their regular routine.

We'll be LIVE! here in a little bit.

-- Start of the game has been moved back again; we're now scheduled for 7:53 p.m. The Thrashers got to the arena at around 6:10 p.m.

-- Stephen Weiss got smashed into the boards during the first period of Friday's game and aggravated what is believed to be a back injury he's been playing with for a while now.

Weiss is out of tonight's game but is on the trip; he's day-to-day and could return Tuesday in Raleigh.
