And he's bringing the Stanley Cup with him.
Yes, I know Nathan and his family are residents of Broward County.
But Horton will spend his time with the Cup in the place where it all began for him.
Officials in Dunnville, Ontario -- which is located not far from Niagara Falls -- are obviously excited about their hometown hero coming back with the Cup later this month. A parade and town party are scheduled for July 19.
Word is there will be a parade through the small town with Horton offering an idea that fans can get a picture with the Cup for a cool $5. The money will go to the local hospital. Nice touch.
After the Cup gets its welcome in Dunnville, the Hortons will take it up the road to Toronto.
Dunnville, some of you may recall from my story a few years ago, is also the hometown to former Panthers coach Pete DeBoer.

I would think Nathan originally said he was bringing it here then changed his mind. The linked story confirm they are bringing it to Canada and having a parade for it.

Dunnville is a small town and has been cheering for Nathan throughout his time playing Juniors and NHL. I think he wanted to give back to where he came from, which is sweet. Good for Him.
