WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Is tonight the night the Panthers clinch a playoff spot? All Florida needs is one point to win the Southeast Division.
If Buffalo was to lose in Philadelphia tonight, the Panthers get at least the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference and a date with the Rangers.
Jose Theodore in net versus the Capitals. Kickoff at 7.

As bad as Theodore has looked the last month, and as good as Clemmenson has looked, why would you not put Scott in while trying to clinch the playoffs?

he looked bad in the second half of the game against the Jets but has played very well for the most part prior to that. He is our number 1 and desrves to be the man in the net when (if) we clinch.

I agree with AC, BUT--2 quick goals in the first and Dino pulls him.

Dineen has treated Theo nicely. You know he's the #1, you know he had a bad game, giving him a chance to put it behind him is the best thing to do. Of course, goodwill only goes so far. Theo was never expected to win the Vezina, but he's had a good year, better than I thought (until recently), and Clemmensen has shown that the New Jersey run was a fluke when given the full time position.
