Pavel Bure, the Russian Mayor of South Beach, was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
Bure, who won a pair of 'Rocket' Richard trophies during his time with the Panthers, is part of the Class of 2012.
Congrats to the most exciting player the Panthers have ever had. You have to think his No. 10 will be the first player's number to be retired by the team.
It will happen eventually. This year perhaps?

His tenure was brief, but so very impactful. Bravo! Some people say he was a jerk off the ice, but the three times I interacted with him he was affable and friednly. Always eager to sign a hat/card for a kid. Good ambassador for the sport. Too bad they saddled him with Keenan (a aguy he was eager to escape from in VAN) at the end.
