Florida State Baseball Unveils 2013 Schedule

Florida State's baseball team released it's schedule today. The Seminoles will start the season with a 15-game homestand, beginning with a series against Rhode Island starting Friday, February 15th.

The 'Noles continue their split series with Florida this year and also have to travel to Coral Gables for this season's series with the Miami Hurricanes. Overall, Florida State plays 13 teams that finished with 30 or more wins, including, seven 2012 NCAA Regional participants and four teams that finished last season in the top 25.

“The schedule is similar to what it has been for the past three decades,” said FSU head coach Mike Martin in a press release.  “We are going to play a very competitive schedule and I’m sure if you look on there you will see a number of teams that participated in postseason play including three against the No. 1 team in the country last year for a majority of the season in the University of Florida.”

Last season Florida State made it all the way to the college world series. This year they will need to replace quite a bit though after being hit hard by graduation and the MLB draft. We'll get our first look at the 'Noles baseball team this month when they play a few Fall exhibitions.
