Going Polling: FSU Stays 10th in AP, Jumps to 9 in Coaches Poll

The polls are out and despite not playing Florida State has still moved up a spot in one of them. While the Seminoles continue to sit at 10th in Associated Press poll the Coaches Poll has jumped them up a spot to 9th following another eventful weekend of college football.

While several big games and bigger upsets occured this weekend, the one with the largest impact on the Seminoles was Miami's 21-16 win over Florida at Sun Life Stadium. It was the second week in a row that a top 15 SEC school fell to an ACC one, but it also should provide FSU with a boost in strength of schedule as a result of the Hurricanes jumping up to 15 in the AP poll and 18 in the Coaches poll.

Clemson, who a week ago beat Georgia, is now ranked 3rd by the AP and 5th by the coaches, the Tigers, Canes and 'Noles are the lone ACC teams represented.

The AP top five are Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State and Stanford (in that order) while the coaches have the same teams ranked Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, Stanford and Clemson.

UF now sits 18 in the AP poll, 20th in the Coaches'.
