Halftime: FSU 28 Pittsburgh 10

It's been the Jameis Winston show so far in Pittsburgh. Florida State's redshirt freshman quarterback has made his debut count, going 17-for-18 so far for 240 yards and three touchdowns.

The Panthers wasted little time deflating the hype surround Florida State's vaunted new defense, going 80 yards in 90 plays and scoring a touchdown on their opening drive. Telvin Smith - who has played an excellent game so far - was solid on the opening two plays but Pitt QB Tom Savage found WR Devin Street on third down and the Panthers were on their way to a score.

Jimbo Fisher wasted no time breaking in Winston, lining up five wide receivers on the first play and allowing Winston to connect with Kelvin Benjamin on the very first play of the game. The Seminoles' first drive stalled but FSU quickly got their feet under them.

True freshman Jalen Ramsey rewarded FSU's coaching staff by intercepting Savage on the Panthers second drive and Winston found Nick O'Leary several plays later for the first Seminoles' touchdown of the year.

From there it has been all FSU, with Winston missing on just one pass (a close sideline throw to Kenny Shaw) and leading the Seminole offense up and down the field all first half. Terrence Brooks also has a pick for FSU's defense which has allowed just three point since the opening drive.

First Half Leaders:

Passing: Jameis Winston - 17/18 240 yards, 3 TD
Rushing: Tyler Boyd - 2 rushes, 38 yards
Receiving: Rashad Greene - 7-115- 1 TD
