Going Polling: FSU Climbs into the Top 5

I

The polls are out and Florida State is ranked in the top five of both the Associated Press and Coaches Poll -- marking their highest ranking of the season in both.

Stanford stumbled over the weekend, dropping their first game of the season and dropping to 13th in both polls. That opened the door for the Seminoles -- who were off last Saturday -- to crack the top five.

The AP poll features Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State and FSU as their top five. The University of Miami is now ranked 10th in the AP poll and Virginia Tech now sits 19th. Florida dropped to 22nd.

In the Coaches poll Alabama and Oregon are 1-2, but Clemson and Ohio State are flipped, with the Buckeyes coming in third and Clemson and FSU 4-5. Miami is 11th, Va Tech is 20th and UF is 22nd.
