Going Polling: FSU Still Third in Both Polls, But Inching Upwards

I

Both the AP and Coaches Poll are out following week ten and Florida State is still third in both. But slowly perception seems to be swaying and the Seminoles are also inching up in both.

The AP poll still has Alabama, Oregon, FSU, Ohio State and Baylor in the top five -- as does the USA Today Coaches Poll -- but just nine points separate the Seminoles and Ducks. Florida State now has six first places votes to Oregon's two following their 41-14 dismantling of Miami.

39 points separate FSU and Oregon in the Coaches' Poll and the Seminoles now have three first place votes to Oregon's five in that one.

Beyond the trio at the top, the ACC is represented by Clemson (8 AP/7 Coaches) and Miami (14/14).

FSU plays at Wake next weekend. The BCS Standings come out at 8:30 tonight.
