Greene, Goldman earn ACC POTW honors

Florida State receiver Rashad Greene and defensive tackle Eddie Goldman each earned Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week honors at their respective positions following the Seminoles' 23-17 win over Clemson.

Greene, a 6-foot, 180-pound senior who played at St. Thomas Aquinas, caught nine passes for 135 yards and hauled in a 73-yard touchdown pass that tied the game at 17. He leads the conference in receptions (24), receiving yards (418) and receiving yards per game (139.8)

Goldman, a 6-4, 320-pound junior from Washington, D.C., recorded only two tackles but was a dominant force on the line. He forced a game-saving fumble with less than two minutes to play in regulation and also brought down Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson for a sack in overtime. Then, on Clemson's fourth-and-one play, Goldman broke through the line and tripped up ballcarrier Adam Choice long enough for his teammates to make the tackle for loss.
