Free Software
USA Today hit a homerun with an article on places you can go online to get free software. The article highlights places for free photo editing, word processing and anti-spyware software. This is so awesome. Freeware rocks!
Where do you go online to get free stuff?

I'll reveal some of what I like to call my secret sites for freebies. Of course, now everyone will know. But there's plenty to go around. I just got free deodorant from dove and coupons.

www.smartsource.com let's you clip and print the coupons you want.
If anyone else knows of other good sites, keep them coming. I'll be needing freebies and coupons to get me through these harsh economic times.

Great post Frugalista. Sorry I don't know where to get free items so I have nothing to share in that regard. Jasmine I was going to try to get my hands on the free Dove deoderant but supplies are GONE...sigh.
The best I can say is use your CVS extra care card and at some point you will get extra bucks which can be used on anything. When I get my extra bucks I purchase items that cost almost the same amount as the coupon so that is as good as it gets when I try to get things for free.

Just remember that whenever you download, make sure that you are using a legit site!
