Have you ever used a dating principle to get ahead at work? Do you stroke the egos of your male bosses? I hear it works.
This sounds like a blast! I mostly used dating principles to GET the job: not seeming to eager; not calling back immediately when a recruiter leaves a message...I contend that speaks to confidence and allows a little more leverage in negotiation.
