There's a new site on the world wide web, cheapism. It's a product review of cheap products. Here at The Frugalista Files, the word cheap is not in our vocabulary, but I wanted to shout out a growing blog. :)
I say the blog is worth a click and a gander. The site does the heavy lifting. I hate buying items that stink. It's better to read the reviews. Go cheapism!
Can you be both cheap and frugal?

Nothing wrong with it... as long as the quality is good and it looks good...You can be both you just have to choose wisely...

The site is highly suspect, as it has more ads than content. Having said that, I wouldn't throw it out of bed for eating crackers. And a spot on the blogroll would probably send me some new readers.

Katy, I am the founder of the site Natalie is mentioning here and I just wanted to lay your suspicions to rest. The ads on our site are there to generate revenue but we are never influenced by advertisers when we make a recommendation. Our writers have strict ethical guidelines they must follow and our editors make sure those guidelines are not ignored. Also, if you look closely at the reviews, they are 2000-3000 words each so there is definitely more content than ads.
