Dustin Doe impresses coaches

GAINESVILLE -- Florida coach Urban Meyer named sophomore linebacker Dustin Doe the Gators' most-improved player after the win against Troy. Doe and middle linebacker Brandon Spikes had nine tackles each to lead the team. Coaches named Spikes, who had the Gators' only sack, the player of the game.

-Meyer was upset with his offensive line after Tuesday's practice. He said several of the second-team linemen practiced like they "wanted to be somewhere else." According to Meyer, quarterback Tim Tebow was sacked during practice when a lineman was unable to protect the quarterback's blindside.

-If you're planning to buy tickets from a scalper this Saturday, then watch out for counterfeits. The UAA sent out a press release warning fans of fake tickets.
