BATON ROUGE -- For the second straight week Florida died in the fourth quarter. The defense couldn't stop LSU and the offense couldn't move the ball. It was that simple.
-LSU converted five times on fourth down including a fake punt.
-Florida rushed for 156 yards and passed for 158.
-LSU rushed for 247 yards. Florida entered the game allowing opponents an average of 69 yards per game.
-For the first game this season, someone other than Florida sophomore quarterback Tim Tebow led the Gators in rushing. Running back Kestahn Moore had 79 yards on 12 carries. Tebow rushed for 75 yards on 16 carries.
-LSU was the first defense to limit Percy Harvin. The Florida wide receiver had four catches for 58 yards.
-LSU running back/fullback/bulldozer Jacob Hester rushed for 106 yards on 23 carries.
